What we receive from Instagram

Only what you choose to send to @mycrea.ads in an Instagram direct message:

• the reels, posts and videos you share with the account, with their caption;
• the text of your messages (for example the 6-digit code that links your account);
• your Instagram username and the identifier Instagram gives your conversation with us.

We do not read your feed, your followers, your other conversations or anything you have not sent to us.

What we do with it

• Save the media you sent so you can watch it again in your Mycrea workspace.
• Transcribe what is said in a video and give it a short title, so you can search it.
• Sort it into a folder (you can move it or delete it at any time).
• Reply once in the conversation to confirm it was saved.

A reel sent from an account that has not been linked with a code is kept for at most 7 days, then deleted.

We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never publish what you send.

Who processes it

• Hetzner (Germany/Finland): the server that runs the app.
• Cloudflare: secure connection and storage of saved videos (R2).
• OpenRouter / Google Gemini: transcription and sorting of the reels you send. The video is sent for that purpose only.
• Meta: delivers your messages to us through the Instagram API.

Deleting your data

You can delete any saved reel from the Instagram page of the app. To have everything deleted — every reel, transcript and the link between your Instagram account and Mycrea — email [email protected] with your Instagram username. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Removing the conversation in Instagram does not delete what was already saved; the email above does.
